Argentina wants to implement fiscal incentives to ensure that oil companies orient exploration activities to undeveloped sedimentary basins, Giorgi said at the country's Petroleum Club.

Giorgi said incentives for companies to explore in high risk areas located both onshore and offshore would be enshrined in a government-sponsored oil law, currently in Congress awaiting debate.
