Minister of Agriculture and Food Ismat Abbasov of Azerbaijan

Abbasov met with German Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection Horst Seehofer, Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit and President of the German Farmers Association Gerd Sonnleitner who were among visitors in Azerbaijan pavilion.

Earlier, Azerbaijan's Agriculture Minister Ismat Abbasov said that tests undertaken after Askerov was hospitalized with "suspicious" symptoms confirmed that the bird flu virus was not present in Azerbaijan.

Ismat Abbasov expressed his satisfaction with the program.

The document is to be submitted to the government for approval in the coming days, Agriculture Minister Ismat Abbasov said Tuesday.

Ismat Abbasov said he believes the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank will further enhance.
