CA for Agriculture Sajjadul Karim of Bangladesh

Dr Chowdhury Sajjadul Karim is the adviser to Bangladesh Caretaker Government’ s Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Fisheries Livestock and Ministry of Environment and Forest.
The environment and forest adviser, Chowdhury Sajjadul Karim is expected to lead the Bangladesh delegation at the conference, spoke to New Age special correspondent Shahidul Islam Chowdhury on November 18, 2007, at his secretariat office.
Sajjadul Karim has been given the portfolios of agriculture, fisheries and livestock, and environment and forest ministries.
Agriculture Advisor Dr Chowdhury Sajjadul Karim said promotion of research in agriculture and livestock sectors would increase production and create food security in the country.
Sajjadul Karim said the government should examine the standard of petroleum at the main sources as well as at the depots without accusing the dealers only.
Karim was actively associated with and contributed to Energy Planning, Rural Energy Planning Study, Renewable Energy and Nuclear Power Planning.
Framework Convention on Climate Change--environment and forests minister Chowdhury Sajjadul Karim said he and his 24-member team of experts would explain the claim that Bangladesh has already.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Agriculture Adviser Dr Chowdhury Sajjadul Karim has brushed aside the possibility of social unrest over growing cereal prices as the country is expecting bumper production of crops this season.
Karim was speaking as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of a potato feast at the Radisson Water Garden in the city on Wednesday.
