Lesego Motsumi is a politician from Botswana.
Motsumi was the Minister of Health until November 2004, when she became the Minister of Works and Transport.
Motsumi was answering a question from Tswapong South Member of Parliament, Oreeditse Molebatsi, who had asked “what the former CEO of Air Botswana, who was a local, earned in salary and fringe benefits in cash per annum and what the current non-citizen CEO of Air Botswana earns in salary and fringe benefits in cash per annum.

GABORONE, BOTSWANA – Minister of Works and Transport Lesego Motsumi has called on car manufacturers to install speed-controlling devices in high-speed vehicles in Botswana as a way of curbing road traffic accidents, according to Mmegi Business Week publication.
Motsumi was speaking during the opening of Scania Botswana’s new head office complex in Gaborone last week.
Motsumi said that for instance, drivers of such prototypes, who are conscious of the high performance of the vehicle, have been prone to over-speeding, even in less-ideal traffic environments.
Ms Motsumi said having established the National TB Control Program in 1975, much success was gained with the country reporting its lowest ever TB notification rate of the 202 cases.
Ms Motsumi said there are presently studies taking place to determine the extent of MDR in the country.
Motsumi said the polio campaign was a high priority for the government, which had allocated $710,000.
