Viotti has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Brasilia, which she received in 1979.

Viotti was in charge of relations with Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile.

Viotti said that the weak fiscal basis of the government and rising global fuel and food prices were hindering government efforts in infrastructure development.

Ambassador Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti has also been invited.
