Minister of Environment and Standard of Living Salifou Sawadogo of Burkina Faso

Narrating the difficulties in taking along all sections of the society and sharing economic benefits between communities, Burkina Faso’s Environment Minister Salifou Sawadogo said warned that in spite of his country’s efforts to involve business and communities in park management and conservation, the protection of wildlife and the interests of communities such as farmers often come into conflict.
