Secretary of State for Youth and Sports Americo Nascimento of Cape Verde

Praia, Cape Verde, 8 Nov – The new National Stadium of Cape Verde with a capacity for 20,000 people will be ready in 2010, the secretary of state for Youth and Sports, Américo Nascimento said Tuesday.

Mr Nascimento said a team of technicians from China, which is funding the stadium, is already in Cape Verde finalising arrangements in conjunction with government officials.
