Minister of Women's Affairs Laura Albornoz of Chile

Laura Albornoz has a law degree from the University of Chile, a Masters in Human Resource Management from the International Business School in Madrid, and a Doctorate in Civil Law from the University of Seville, Spain (for which she received a President of the Republic scholarship.

Migiro and the Albornoz discussed in detail the new architecture of gender proposed by a high level commission of the United Nations, of which ex-President Ricardo Lagos was a member.
Minister Albornoz expressed her support for the UN.
Albornoz said that Chile has made gains in fighting violence against women, but that it can still do more.
