Itoua was elected to the National Assembly as a candidate of the ruling Congolese Party of Labour (PCT) from Ollombo I constituency in the 2007 parliamentary election; he won the seat in the first round with 68.

Itoua was elected as the President of the Executive Bureau of the Patronage Saint-Anne football club on February 16, 2007.

If Kensington is to win this case, it needs to prove essentially that Itoua was embezzling money from Congo and that BNP was part of a conspiracy that enabled him to do so.

And if Itoua is a defendant, the documents needed to prove that case might prove easier to uncover.
