2/ 12/ 2008Hani Hilal Minister of Higher Education Hani Hilal said the ministry has sent money to universities to be used in increasing teaching staff salaries according to each professor's performance.

Hilal said some universities disbursed those bonuses as of last week, and all university professors will get their bonuses before Bairam.

Addressing the meeting, Hilal said that Egypt's hosting of the conference reflected its key role at the different levels in Africa, particularly in the scientific research domain.
