Rising Kashmir News Srinagar, Sep 30: The president of the Jammu and kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Saif-u-din Soz Tuesday expressed grief and deep shock over the demise of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) president and veteran leader, Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi.
In a statement Soz described him as front ranking leader who devoted himself whole heartedly to the cause and upliftment of the Muslims and other depressed classes.
Soz said adding, “I will take up the issue with the state government; as we have sufficient funds at the Centre and help the state to constitute separate department for dredging.
Soz said the Centre and the state governments were committed to redressing genuine grievances of people of the state and both governments would work in synchronisation to help people.
Soz said he would make sure Rs 200 crore for the completion of various projects in the area gets sanctioned in the 11th Five Year plan.
Saif-u-din Soz is from the same place and now the people of this district are hopeful that all the problems would be redressed in the short span of time.
