JAKARTA: Religious Affairs Minister Muhammad Maftuh Basyuni has called on non-Muslims to stay out of the issue of Jamaah Ahmadiyah in order not to complicate the matter further.

Basyuni was referring to some non-Muslim leaders who have taken the line of moderate Islamic scholars and human rights groups in opposing the government's plan to ban Ahmadiyah.
