LONDON, December 14 (IranMania) - Governor of Tehran Kamran Daneshju said that all flights handled by Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport must soon be shifted to the south of the capital, according to IRNA.

Tehran, Dec 13, IRNA-Governor of Tehran Kamran Daneshju said on Tuesday that all flights handled by Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport must soon be shifted to the south of the capital.

During a press briefing on Sunday, Daneshju said that he had been appointed as Deputy Interior Minister for Political Affairs and Acting Interior Minister, press tv reported.

Governor of Tehran Kamran Daneshju said on Tuesday that all flights handled by Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport must soon be shifted to the south of the capital.

Daneshju said the government is seriously pursuing the project.
