Vice President Adil Abd al-mahdi of Iraq

Adil Abd al-Mahdi is a leading political figure in Iraq and a member of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq.
Abd al-Mahdi is a Shia Arab currently serving as the interim finance minister, and al-Yawer is a Sunni Arab currently serving as Iraq’s interim president.
Abd al-Mahdi is a senior official in the Supreme Council For the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI), one of the two main Shi'ite political parties.
Adil Abd al-Mahdi said that in 2004 the government had proposed that Iraqi troops take full control over security in the cities, and he argued that this would still be feasible today.
I understand that the vice president Adil Abd al-Mahdi is warming up in the bull pen for his turn on the mound.
