Minister of Interior Ernesto Roberto Maroni of Italy

Italian Interior Minister Roberto Maroni said the day before that some 500 paratroopers will deploy to the Naples area at the weekend to join the fight against the local Camorra mafia and will man checkpoints, conduct weapons searches, protect at-risk shops and patrol suspects under house arrest.

But Mr Maroni has now set about remedying that.

Maroni has his name recorded as the co-author of La Cumparsita.
