Minister for Internal Affairs and Social Development Amberoti Nikora of Kiribati

The South Pacific island nation's Minister for Sport Amberoti Nikora is leading a 16-member delegation to Beijing.

Mr Nikora said a lot of advocacy work was being carried out at regional and international levels but have yet to translate into visible outcomes on the ground back in the islands.
