It was all tears of joy at Entebbe airport when three heart patients who had undergone successful open-heart surgery in South Korea returned home on April 26.

Sung-hwan Kim is not a Ugandan but has a big heart for Ugandans.

Sung Hwan Kim is a Korean artist based in Amsterdam and finalist in the Prix de Rome; David Michael DiGregorio is an Amsterdam-based US musician recording under the name of dogr.

Kim has sponsored 21 heart patients to get surgery in Uganda and Korea.

Kim said the charity sponsors poor Ugandans suffering from heart diseases, cataract and cleftlip to get treatment.

It is our responsibility to help members of our community through organizations that are close to them,” Mr Hwan Sung Kim said during the handover of the moveable office to Holi Director of Public Relation and Advocacy, Ms Grace Kabonero.

Sung Hwan Kim has spoken about the ‘arrogance’ of the encyclopaedia’s attempt ‘to cover every phenomenon in the world.

Kim said they received over 120 applications from heart patients seeking help.
