Minister of Environment Raimonds Vejonis of Latvia

Raimonds Vejonis is married and a father of two sons.

Latvian Environmental Minister Raimonds Vejonis said his ministry could not fund the project this year because the national budget for 2005 had already been submitted, but said he would consider the request in the future.

Environment minister Raimonds Vejonis said he was unhappy with the way the commission had calculated its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions quota for the country, according to AFP news agency.
