Minister of Transport and Communications Eligijus Masiulis of Lithuania

Masiulis said after the meeting with SAS Vice President Christian Hylander and Director for Eastern Europe Jens Helmo Larsen, that SAS is considering relocating some of its flights from Riga to Vilnius.

Mr Masiulis said the new government will strive to increase Lithuanias competitiveness in transit trade and promote competition in rail freight and road construction.

Transport Minister Eligijus Masiulis said at a news conference, however, that he would not assume responsibility for the troubles of the company.
