Minister of Health Bujar Osmani of Macedonia

Announcing the government’s overhaul of the health system, Osmani said the renovation of old objects will cost €45 million.
As one of the reforms aimed at motivating doctors in the public health service to give better services, Osmani said the ministry plans to establish a system of wages based on the monthly performance of the employees.
Bujar Osmani has visited Kisinev, Republic of Moldavia today, where he led the delegation from the Ministry of health of the Republic of Macedonia at the Conference of the ministers for health of the Southeastern Europe.

At a press conference, Osmani said lung cancer is the deadliest cancer for men worldwide and in Macedonia, while ranking third and fourth, respectively, for women.
Health Minister Bujar Osmani said authorities had inspected 137 pastry shops across the country and shut down 40 of them for failing to maintain hygiene standards.
Our joint activities are based on the Agreement of 2001, which includes a cooperation in health care reforms, health insurance, pharmaceutics, food safety, transborder control etc, Osmani said at a press conference.
