Duli Yang Maha Mulia (DYMM) Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah is the 16th Sultan of the state of Terengganu, Malaysia, and the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, or King, of Malaysia.

Visiting Malaysian Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah received at his Bayan Palace residence Sunday His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah has been elected the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong for a five-year term effective Dec 13.

His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah is holding the official keris at the Installation Ceremony of the XIII Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 26 April 2007 at the Istana Negara.

His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah was born on 22 January 1962 (15 Syaaban 1381 Hijrah) at Istana Al-Muktafi in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu Darul Iman.

Recently, Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah was accorded the five-star military insignia, signifying his elevation as supreme commander of the armed forces in conjunction with his crowning as Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong XIII in December 2006.
