Speaker, State Great Hural Damdin Demberel of Mongolia

Demberel has been elected five times consecutively to the Parliament since 1992.

Bilateral ties have grown rapidly in recent years in politics, economy and other fields, Demberel said during a meeting with WangJiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

On his recent visit to China, Demberel said he was able to see for himself the great economic achievements China has made in its 30 years of reform and opening-up and that Mongolia shares China¡¯s pride in its progress.

First elected as member of parliament (MP) in 1992, Demberel was re-elected in 2008.

Demberel said the new parliament would give priority to boosting socio-economic development of the country.

Demberel expressed his satisfaction with the bilateral good-neighborly partnership of mutual trust between Mongolia and China.

On cooperation in trade and economy, Demberel said Mongolia is faced with opportunities to develop rapidly and China's quick economic growth has created positive conditions to Mongolia.
