National Education Minister Ahmed Akhchichine said a new government programme to improve school facilities will particularly target rural areas which lack basic infrastructure.

Akhchichine said that such a system has already proved to be effective in Mexico.

Akhchichine said ata meeting with the Meknès-Tafilalet educational academy, held in the historical town of Volubilis, near Meknès.
