Permanent Representative to the UN, New York Filipe Chidumo of Mozambique

Filipe Chidumo is the Ambassador to the United Nations for Mozambique.
Chidumo has also served as Third Secretary in the Mozambican Embassy in Moscow from 1983 to 1984, as well as Third, Second and First Secretary at his countrys Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York between 1987 and 1994.
Chidumo has a Masters Degree in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University, New York, and a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from the High Institute of International Relations, Maputo.
Chidumo is married with three sons.

Meanwhile, Mozambique Ambassador Filipe Chidumo has stated that his government is monitoring developments, and that it “understands Kosovo’s people’s will for freedom and independence.
