Nepalgunj, November 8:Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma Prabhakar has said the integration of PLA will be carried out respecting aspirations of the combatants.

Senior Maoist leader and Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma Prabhakar has said that the PLA combatants who failed to be verified by the UNMIN will soon be taken out from the cantonments.

The PLA members should be integrated into the National Army on the basis of provisions in the Comprehensive Peace Accord and the interim Constitution," Prabhakar said referring to the 2006 peace agreement signed between the former rebels and the then government.

a Prabhakar said on Saturday that the demand of Nepali Congress to lead the next government is against the mandate given by people in the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Refusing to divulge the number of combatants who will be subjected to 're-verification,' Prabhakar said the new modality will be prepared so that there will not be repetition of similar problems during verification in other camps.

Janardan Sharma alias Prabhakar has said that the Nepal Army-Maoist Militia integration process will be completed within six months time.

Maoist deputy commanders Pasang and Prabhakar said that the team would select Talban of Musariya for the cantonment as they received positive response from the UN official.
