Mir Aijaz Hussain Khan Jakhrani is a Member National Assembly (MNA) affiliated with Pakistan Peoples Party.

Mir Aijaz Hussain Khan Jakhrani is now currently Federal Minister for Health Pakistan.

Meanwhile, in a letter addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner, PPP MNA Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani said that 17 TPOs and SHOs had been transferred in Jacobabad and Kashmore districts since the announcement of the election schedule.

JACOBABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Jacobabad chief MNA Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani has announced to support Khushaal Pakistan panel (KPP) candidate Begum Saeeda Soomro for the slot of district Nazim.

KARACHI: Federal Health Minister Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani said that People's government is formulating a health policy to make countrymen a healthy nation and all out efforts are being made to achieve the health vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

Talking to different delegations at his Karachi residence, Mir Aijaz Jakhrani said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had launched several programmes in health sector and he would follow her vision.

Jakhrani said that four other programmes including National AIDS Control Programme, Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), National Programme for Prevention and Control of Hepatitis, and National Tuberculosis Control Programme are underway.

Jakhrani said polio eradication is a key area of concern and the present government is making all-out efforts in this regard.

Jakhrani said that his elder brother Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani was locked up for two days in the city police station and tortured brutally only because he had decided to contest on NA-208 on the PPP ticket against the nephew of the prime minister, Fahad Malik.
