Minister of Business and Commerce bin Jasim al-Thani Fahd of Qatar

At the outset of his talks, Fahd expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar; Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Crown Prince of Qatar; Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jaber and the Qatari government for the kind hospitality and warm welcome accorded to him and the delegation accompanying him.
Later, Fahd said he was happy to visit Qatar.
Fahd said a number of the Sultanates citizens are studying in the international universities of the Educational City and the Qatari government has been seeking their assistance to develop the education march in Qatar.
Fahd was received on his arrival to the Educational Citys administration building by Dr Saif Bin Ali Al Hajri, Chairman of the Educational City board.
Fahd was briefed on the educational city and its facilities, stages of construction, various educational courses it offers from basic to higher education and advanced education courses.
Fahd was gifted manuscripts from the Holy Quran in Arabic and English, a commemorative gift by Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Al Masnad, chairperson of the educational city board.
Sayyid Fahd was received on his return by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Qatabi, minister of fisheries; Dr Juma bin Ali bin Juma, minister of manpower; Dr Rawiyah bint Saud Al Busaidiyah, minister of higher education; Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi, minister of housing; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, secretary-general of the Council of Ministers; and Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Khatri, Qatari ambassador to the Sultanate.
Earlier in Qatar, Sayyid Fahd was seen off on his departure by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani; Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabr Al Thani, Rashid bin Mubarak Al Gheilani, Sultanate’s ambassador to Qatar; and embassy personnel.
