Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Gregor Golobic of Slovenia
Zares president Gregor Golobic said the three agreed that in case they form the next government, this government will not direct its attention to the next election and how to win over voters for them.
Zares leader Gregor Golobic said the wide support for the left parties also came as a result of restructuring of the LDS and the creation of Zares, bringing hope of change in the country.
Golobic is not a new face, neither is he inexperienced nor politically clean.
Touching on the decision by Prime Minister Borut Pahor to make former Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel his special envoy for foreign affairs, Golobic said that the decision raised the question of whether tolerance to the intolerant is the right way to reduce intolerance in society.
Like Pahor, Golobic is convinced that the coalition will fulfil the high hopes of the people, voiced in the 21 September general election.
Today, in the wake of the elections, we're starting out on a new course, one that is fundamentally different from before," Golobic said of his party's role in the government.
