Pavlinic Krebs said today that the salary reform, which brought all of the public sector into a single system, was irresponsible: the ministry has only EUR 124m to spend on eliminating discrepancies but it would actually need between EUR 190m and EUR 200m.

Public Administration Minister Irma Pavlinic Krebs said the negotiations would involve a lowering of salaries.

Whereas Strukelj mentioned the elimination of anomalies that the system has created, Pavlinic Krebs said it was a sickly child, as even the unions that signed the accord are unhappy with it.
