Minister of Transport and Communication Patrick Vlacic of Slovenia

At the planned technical meeting, the Slovenian side wants to outline its reservations to the Commission, expecting the Commission to in turn present its views, Vlacic said today.

While acknowledging that the meeting was merely a step in the right direction - not resulting for example in the Commission unfreezing funding for a motorway project in Slovenia - Vlacic said it was important that he got a first hand account on where the problem lies.
