Minister of Education and Human Resources Development Job Duddley Tausinga of Solomon Islands

Job Duddley Tausinga was confirmed as the MP for North New Georgia in an announcement by the governor general, Sir Nathaniel Waena.
Mr Tausinga says his resignation was effective as of yesterday 19th December 2006.
Mr Tausinga says he not only resigned from his Ministerial posts, but he has decided to leave the Great Grand Coalition for Change Government.

Tausinga received the sawmills and equipment from Taiwan’s Ambassador to Solomon Islands, His Excellency George Chan, on behalf of the Members of Parliament (MPs) and the timber resource owners who are recipients.
Tausinga said wise use of resources as in activities such as reforestation and replanting are part and parcel of post-logging land use.
Tausinga said the handing over ceremony is part of the successful implementation of the Forestry Development Projects under the 2008 National Development Budget – the Strategic Support to Reforestation and Downstream processing.
