Minister of Power and Energy John Senaviratne of Sri Lanka

Power and Energy Minister John Senaviratne said the attack caused minor damage to the FIAT (GT7) gas turbine power generator and Combined Cycle power machine.

Senaviratne said Sri Lanka and China should enhance mutual political trust and promote economic cooperation and cultural exchanges and communication.

Athauda Senaviratne has decided to file a defamation case against his colleague and a deputy Minister of Power and Energy Mahindananda Aluthgamage, seeking millions of Rupees in compensation.
