By Kelum Bandara Indigenous Medicine Minister, Tissa Karalliyadde said yesterday the recently developed Ayurvedic cure had enabled 20 permanently bed-ridden cancer patients to regain their ability to walk.
Karalliyadde said his Ministry had conducted successful research to cure this disease, and around 400 patients sought treatment at the Ayurvedic Hospital in Navinna, Maharagama on a daily basis.

Minister of Indigenous Medicine Tissa Karalliyadde has laid the foundation for an Ayurvedic Health Centre on August 18 and on the same day a health clinic was held with the assistance of volunteer doctors from Colombo at the Vakarai Maha Vidyalaya.
