Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Abdel Basit Saleh Sabdarat of Sudan

Arab justice ministers have agreed to set up a legal committee to support Sudan in face of its current crisis with the International Criminal Court (ICC), Sudanese Minister of Justice Abdel-Basit Saleh Sabdarat said on Sunday.

Sabdarat expressed his country's confidence in the AL chief's efforts to help resolve Sudan's problems.

And Information Minister Abdel Basit Sabdarat said the government would launch ‘an extensive diplomatic campaign’ to explain its defiance of the world body.

The council of ministers has reached a conclusion that the resolution is contradicting justice and objectivity and violating national sovereignty,’ Information Minister Abdel Basit Sabdarat said after a cabinet meeting chaired by President Omar al-Beshir.
