Minister of Science and Technology Ibrahim Ahmed Omer of Sudan

Secretary General of the NC Ibrahim Ahmed Omer said the result of the election showed members of the party supported policies of the current government led by Bashir and affirmed its achievements.
Sudanese National Congress Party (SNCP) General Secretary Ibrahim Ahmed Omer said Saturday that his visit to China was crowned with success and it opened the gate to further bilateral cooperation.
During his visit in China, Omer met with Jia Qinglin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and other senior CPC officials.

Ibrahim Ahmed Omer said in a statement to SUNA that the Leadership Office heard a briefing by the President of the Republic on the situation in Darfur and the political declaration on realization of security and stability in Darfur and the positive response the declaration has received.
