President Umar Hassan Ahmad Al-bashir of Sudan

Al-Bashir was born on January 1, 1944 in the village of Hoshe Bannaga, Sudan, then part of the Kingdom of Egypt and Sudan.
Al-Bashir joined the Sudanese Army at a young age and studied at the Egyptian Military Academy in Cairo.
Al-Bashir is married to his cousin Fatma Khalid.
