Minister of Planning and Development Cooperation Rick Van Ravenswaay of Suriname

Rick Van Ravenswaay was ordained and installed at the same August 17 service.

Rick Van Ravenswaay was ordained by West Sioux Classis and installed as pastor of outreach and administration August 17 at New Life Reformed Church in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Van Ravenswaay had been involved in lay ministry in the New Life church before beginning seminary in 2005.

The country's Planning and Development Cooperation Minister Rick van Ravenswaay has reported that over a year after the EU approved the funds, little progress has been made in the project which is using 700-hectares to increase sowing-seed production in the rice industry.

Project carrier Rick van Ravenswaay says the new slaughterhouse will have a capacity of 25 cows an hour, taking an increase in the supply of animals into account.
