Speaking to reporters at a meeting organized by Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Istanbul, Syrian Culture Minister Riyad Nasan Agha said that Syria welcomed Erdogan's efforts for mediation.

Upon a question on Pentagon's recent disclosure of several photos of a facility located in Syria, recalling that the same was done for Iraq previously, Agha said the photos claiming that Iraq possessed nuclear weapons were disclosed before UN, however, they were proved to be wrong later on.
