Minister of Economy and Trade Ghulomjon Bobozoda of Tajikistan
Bobozoda said that the newly set up working group of the Tajikistan-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation had held several meetings in Baku.
Tajik Economic Development and Trade Minister Ghulomjon Bobozoda met with Azerbaijans Economy Minister Geidar Babayev, in Baku, Azerbaijan to discuss venue, date and the agenda of the first session of Tajik-Azeri commission for trade and economic commission, Asia-Plus reported.
The government of Tajikistan is interested in economic cooperation with Azerbaijan especially in producing aluminum, developing transportation and rail communication, as well as enhancing banking sector, Bobozoda said during a meeting of the Azerbaijani- Tajikistani Inter-Government Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
