Minister of State for Gender (Women) Rukia Isanga of Uganda

State Minister for Gender Rukia Isanga has issued a directive permitting boda boda cyclists in Mayuge to transport more than one passenger on their motorcycles at a time contrary to the traffic law.

Isanga was speaking at celebrations to mark the Day of the African Child in Sironko on Friday.

which she chants in a very dramatic way.

In a recent interview, the State Minister for Gender, Ms Rukia Nakadama Isanga said while Uganda was yet to ratify the Maputo protocol, most of its requirements have been answered through various policies in place.
