Minister of Telecommunications Socorro Hernandez of Venezuela

At an interview at the state-owned Venezolana de Television, Minister Hernandez expressed that this 24% of growth is one of the most praiseworthy achievements of the Bolivarian Revolution, which was devised within the nationalization policies carried out by the Government to grant the nation's sovereignty and security.

Hernandez was born December 11, 1945, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamps Mexico, and passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008, in a local hospital.

Hernandez was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Jose Hernandez; parents, Dionicia (Bautista) and Jesus Barajas; and brother, Cesar Barajas.
